I have been, lately...

for those that were able to attend the AI 2004 - thanks!

We hope that a wonderful time was had by all...

Highlights...

The Females - many of whom made it to the final table, several who have never played in a tournament larger that six, and a some never even having played...

The two youts (excuse me - the two youthss)- who made a good showing and were not totally intimidated by their elders and who were not wholly owned by those with more experience (in fact, smacking around their elders as if they had no respect for them)

Connie amassing such a tremendous chip lead that she was able to leave the tournament for three hours and allow her blinds to be taken, and still have a tremendous lead when she returned...

The knighting of the Champion and the crowning (and hunting) of the Emperor

the superbly wonderful delicacies created and shared

and I am sure there are many more moments to remember, but I was probably too wasted to realize what they were...

Honestly, I was not expecting half that many people to show up at our house...

Fortunately we were able to accomodate everyone (somewhat) comfortably - plus we learned that we have a long way to go to childproofing the house...
