I've been up since lorie left. that was three hours ago.
I've closed all of the windows and the blinds so that the sun cannot come in. I am unwilling to turn on the air conditioner. so I will be cleaning in my boxers and a t-shirt, so at least I won't be completely in the buff should anyone stop by unexpectedly.
aaand I'm a loser.
second run through zelda, but it's backwards. basically, link is usually left handed. but for the wii, he's right handed, which is why the whole game is mirrored imaged from the gamecube version.
there seem to be only 17 episodes of the last season of alias.
like I said, I'm loser. I have a lot to do.
I should probably get to it.
but after this disc.

What this country needs is more free speech worth listening to. -Hansell B. Duckett

today is saturday. one of those rare saturdays whre I have posted. of course, as of late, any post is rare. '
today is also the last day of my second week of my three weeks of vacation. I've been home. mostly. except for the quick jaunt to vegas.
a lot has happened in these three weeks.
I lost a g willingly.
I lost a g unwillingly.
I mowed the lawn. a lot.
kris helped me patch my roof, which is to say that he did most of the work, and I just watched. he's getting married next week. so that's gonna be fun. I'm going to have to figure out the requisite best man speech.
lorie decided that she couldn't wait to give me my b-day present. so that will effectively make me lost track of time during the last week of my vacation.
I am badly in need of a manicure.
I guess we will have to see if I'm ready to go back to work when I have to go back to work after this next week.
this next week should be fun.
oh... speaking of fun, my mom and her fiance were over along with my siblings and they were playing on the wii.
that was a lot of fun. I missed out on a lot of it because I was busy handing over money to The Association.
yes, they take my money like it was theirs.
of course we should have good water pressure when all is said and done.
stupid people annoy me.
I'm annoyed A LOT.

fear of everyone seeing catastrophe
fear of not being in control

search your feelings but do not giving to anger, fear...
I did not contribute one bit to that conversation - it was more for my understanding of the process...

The nice part about being a pessimist is that you are constantly being either proven right or pleasantly surprised. -George F. Will

I like being right. so maybe I'll just be a pessimist. :-P
don't have the tablet today. so I'll have to type this one.
couldn't get online all day today. which means I was actually doing work. well, as much as I could do without being able to get online.
this means that I'll have to do stuff from the hotel tonight.
not in the mood.
stress. trying to remove that still. it's hard to do because stuff keeps happening. can't imagine having kids. actually, what I imagine is that you are constantly stressing about them.
I have set two impossible goals:
win the lottery.
become a supermodel.

or I could go the other way.
absolute poverty and destitution.
Either way, I guess I really don't have to worry about money.
they both come with problems I guess.
...
going to the gym.
fuck work.
