the starter for the riding mower seems to be shot. not sure how to fix it... took the whole thing apart until I got to the part where the spinny thing needed to come off... the bolt was rusted and I couldn't get any leverage when I tried to remove it... plus I needed to wedge something in the gear to get it to stop moving.

in the end, I ended up just using my regular mower - 4 hours of just mowing (a lot of leaves) and I only did the front and half the backyard... my feet hurt. I think I might have been able to fix it had I got that plate off the top, but i was running out of time, and I still needed to get the house in some kind of non-mess, since lorie is coming home tuesday!!! WOOO HOOOO!

except for, I won't be home until thursday. so boo.

but whatever. I'm just happy to see her.

in other news, guitar hero 2 is coming out. SWEET!

and I think I should be getting the rambaldi collection soon as well.

does anyone want to buy the first 4 season of alias at a discount?

I like m&m's

they are very good.

I like peanut m&m's also. they taste yummy.

I have three bags of m&m's in my backpack. I will eat them later.

my favorite is when i can eat m&m's when I am working, because it makes me smile when I eat them.

one time, I had a huge bag of m&m's and I ate the whole thing all at once without sharing.

it made me sick.

i stopped eating m&m's for a while after that.

but I can eat them again now.

it's like I'm stuck in a groove that I repeat over and over...

it's cold in michigan.

but, it's actually pretty cold in the office. assuming you aren't doing heavy lifting and what not.

my cube has been set up, except for my phone. which I probably would never use anyway, but it's always nice to have just in case I don't feel like shouting over the wall or walking 10 feet.

because 10 feet is soooo far to walk.

anyhow, it looks like the dude that was sitting in this cube before left in an aweful hurry, because he left everything

notes, files, 5 cans of pop - and I'm only gonna drink the diet dr pepper, because I don't like the other diet cans he left... (diet vanilla pepsi, diet pepsi, diet caffeine free coke, and diet coke.) well, maybe I'll drink the diet coke, but whatever - i digress...

so I'm going through the files which I am going to trash and I find one called "Enron - Data naming standards"

I'm not working for enron - obviously... but wow. talk about not having cleaned out your files for a while.

the recycling guy is going to have fun carrying off this heavy bin of paper.

save the trees people.

now I have to figure out what to do with the potted plants they left behind... and I'm talking floor plats that look like little trees...

my cube is cramped as it is...

but at least the pop machine is only a quarter... so I got that going for me.

I spent the good part of yesterday morning cleaning out the keboard which was disgustingly dust and dirty with all this crude between the keys.

yuck.

and I've got more chairs in my cube that I know what to do with. plus if I pass gas in the chair that I have, it's not going to get filtered in any cushion, because it's one of those $1200 ergonomic chairs that have mesh for the seat... which means all odor goes right through...

but at least my posture will be good.

think I'm getting sick. not good. don't like the sore throat can't breathe at night feeling. not fun.

decided that I probably should get as much sleep as possible, but because I'm a dork I've gotten to the second disk of final fantasy vii after deciding to restart the game once. btw - final fantasy xii is out and I haven't even beaten vii... not that I'm going to get into the other ones because I can't play them on my laptop. :-P oh, and aeris is dead and I didn't get her up to her top limit break before she died. not cool.

despite all of that, I was still able to get up early enough to iron my shirt and get breakfast. how amazing is that.

you're probably bored reading this now. it's ok. I would be to. I just wanted to post an entry just for the sake of posting because I can't possibly read anyone else's entries because they are at least a week old. pooh.
