because I get stupid...
posted @ 11:58 by ryan in [ Innergeek... ]

so other than a few errands and watching harry potter, I basically did nothing this weekend but play resident evil 4 (for GC), over and over and over... [insert loser zing here]

[GEEK WARNING!!!]
I beat the whole game out right last week, then I beat asignment ada. I bought the infinite rocket launcher and then I bought the chicago typewriter. I finished the second round this weekend...

the chicago typewriter and the infinite launcher with the semi-automatic rifle (exclusive upgrade) is ridiculous...
I mean outrageous

the rifle I kept for long range and the infrared scope, although I really don't need either given the rocket launcher will have the range and destroy any creature I would need the infrared scope for, but I like to snipe. There is something satisfying about blowing the head off ganados and tenticle creatures.

chicago typewriter has a power of 10 (which equals the riot shotgun and gives the stricker shotgun a run for it's money) and shots as fast as a TMP - not to mention that it has infinite ammo. these attributes eliminate the need for any handgun (most abundant ammo, but max power of 5), shotgun (good spread and great power but slow and limited range), and the TMP (great speed and abundant ammo but max power of 1.8)

And the infinite rocket launcher - that speaks for itself...

of course, I didn't have all three together until close to the end of round 2, so I'm going to see what kind of time record I can get in the next round...

but I will do round three with the purpose of getting the hand cannon - once I unlock it and to try to get a near perfect accuracy rating...

to unlock it, that means I will have to spend a considerable amount of time trying to beat all of the mercenary missions... (meaning I have to score 60000 on each of 4 different maps with each of 4 different characters) since I haven't tried yet, I'm not so sure how hard that will be - and I'm pretty sure that it's not going to happen this weekend, considering that lorie will be home and that we willl have a lot of things to do...
[END GEEK WARNING]

In other news, I got my flu shot a month ago, and I think it has helped me stave off a bout of flu that has been going around the office. strangely it has affected most people who opted not to get their flu shot. however, I am not sure if it I did not catch said illness because of the flu shot or because of my naturally strong immune system. (I am not one to typically get sick - also, considering that in the past, my immune system has chosen to fight off imaginary immunogenic substances - but that probably doesn't qualify as a proof that my immune system is strong, I base that on the fact that as a child and as an adult I have rarely gotten sick...

but just to be safe...
stay away from me if you're contagious

[TANGENT]
So what is the deal with people not getting the flu shot if it's free or at least no money out of your pocket - besides the people who are allergic to eggs or have GBS - I have heard people who were saying stuff like, I'm not putting that into my body, who know what could happen to me. My theory is that they are just afraid of needles or something - from what I've read, besides allergic reactions or GBS, there isn't much that can happen to you from a flu shot... If you are reading this and you have a medical background and knowledge about this, feel free to confirm or deny any statement made regarding flu vaccines.
[END TANGENT]

It's a short week this week [woo hoo!] - and I think you all should join me in a song of rejoice...

I am singing outloud and dancing as I am typing this, so I think if you are reading this (and if you, by chance, read it again) you must sing a song of joy and do a dance while you read.

it's required.

if you don't, no one will like you and you will be an outcast for all the days of your life. Plus I'll tell people you're not fun.

::: ::: :::

ok. so maybe no one will not like you, and you won'te be an outcast all the days of your life(at least not because you didn't sing and dance) and I will not tell people you are no fun, and I was lying when I said that I was singing and dancing, but if you actually did sing and dance, GOOD FOR YOU!! Just know that I am proud of you!

if you didn't, I am neither proud nor disappointed. I'm more of, eh - whatever... no issue, no joy, just moving along.

I think I will be eating for lunch the sausage mcmuffin with egg which I did not eat for breakfast today. (I had a mcgriddle for breakfast - breakfast of champions - 'cause I'm the winner, no not the loser - I tried to eat both sandwiches, but I could barely finish the first)

and they are changing out the furniture and mattresses and housewares in my apartment today - so I am assuming that means everything is going to be nice and neat.

that's it.
