there are only a few occaisions where my attention is completely lost during meetings...
some meetings are simple. I know the material and the majority of the content, so I can pick up any updates whenever.
some meetings require more focus, but if something is missed, it is not totally impossible to regain composure.
and some meetings are like Alias. If you miss two or three episodes you are basically screwed. You can try to watch because you know the characters, the terminology, the basic setup, but nothing is sinking in... two or three episodes is like 5 minutes in these types of meetings.
I have probably missed the equivalent of 7 spisodes, based on what I am understanding... or, rather, not understanding...
so the only solution that makes sense is to buy the entire season on DVD and watch it later.
I must get the powerpoint presentation and force feed myself the material... (because the converstations that are going on right now have acronyms to which I do not know the definition.)
