how good are you at sending e-mail?

Are you a one paragraph person? Do you use excessive space? Do you add a lot of text-faces ;-P ? Do you over, or under, punctate??? ARE YOU A SCREAMER? or are you a lower case, silent type?

verobse?

or are your messages very succinct and to the point?

... ... ...

It is my personal opinion that those that can get their tone across while creating a well-formed message are very gifted.

some people assume the tone they desire is delivered, and others just do not care two dimes in a bucket...

... ... ...

I try to make all of my e-mail messages positive...

somehow...

without trying to look...

over enthusiastic.

meaning, I add exclamation points where I think they can look positive and not pushy or needy or negative and I try to rephrase sentences so that there really is only one interpretation of the meaning.

so...

I sit there...

reading my message outloud (but in my head), and putting inflection on every word individually (and together) to see how it sounds...

... ... ...

my inner monologues are quite interesting, if you ever get the chance to hear one...

... ... ...

I try to do the same thing with my blogs... except I intentionally leave multiple meanings where appropriate and I try to capture, as much as possible, the actual train of thought (pauses and all)...

which is why I favor elipses...

my thoughts never just end.

nope.

they trail off into the distance.

why stop them? they will just leave a trail of dust while rustling up more thoughts...

until it gets so cloudy I cannot think...

then I pray for rain to settle things down.

... ... ...

anyhow... the only problem with leaving subtle meanings is that they are often overlooked by the rushed blogger browser...

most people are in it for the quick hit and run of insight, humor, and wit...

well... at least, in my mind :-P

no one has time for a slow burn of the deeper humor...

of course, I have yet to find more than one or two of these (if you think so - you are probably right), but I will not be huge on exploring until I find more time (and until I switch up my layout - which will probably be after september) because I cannot honestly commit to other new peoples' blogs unless I can put in the time and effort they require. Which is probably why I do not expeditiously answer all of the e-mails I get...

... ... ...

but whatever...

it is friday and I am ready to leave already...
