mmm...
posted @ 16:11 by ryan in [ Once upon a time... ]

I am a notoriously light eater...

my lunch typically ends up as my dinner...

(this is a good thing since I rarely cook for myself)

... ... ...

that has nothing to do with anything though.

I only brought it up because I ate lunch today.

Over the last few months I have had approximately 10 or 12 home cooked meals.

meaning that the majority of my meals have been pizza, fast food, or frozen dinners. (I do get vitamins though - thanks to V8 splash and SoBe)

but whatever.

today I had a salad.

although I use the term loosely - meaning it came from the salad bar.

my salads, if you choose to think about it, is more or less an exploded ham and cheese sandwich...

on toast...

with a side of cucumber, sunflower seed, and a hard boiled egg...

take the ingredients:
lettuce and other greens
ham
shredded bacon
onions
cheese

add a boat load of croutons and you have the basic structure of a ham sandwich...

minus the congruity of the "actual" form of the sandwich.

... ... ...

I ate this sandwich with a fork.

it took 3 hours.

... ... ...

and I still have not finished my lemonade.

lapses...

I think I am starting to feel the affects of old age on the memory...

but selectively.

I do not remember what happened to tuesday...

Well... Now that I try to think about it, I actually do remember.

maybe if you try to think about it, you will remember what I did on tuesday.

I will give you 10 guesses, but you last nine do not count, and the hint is that it ends with "work"

... ... ...

I just received an office wide e-mail regarding allergies and how to manage them.

how nice.

did you know that allergic diseases affect more than 20% of the U.S. and Canadian populations?

oooh.

they probably send these e-mails out because there are people that are not allowed to have internet access because their jobs do not require it and they need something else to read because they do not want them to bring in magazines and newspapers to read when they should be working like I am right now.

:-P

except for... not really...

... ... ...

so I guess my memory is not as bad as I thought.

... ... ...

btw... my sister thinks that my nephew will be afraid of me when he comes out because I scream really loud when I talk to him...

I think that I will be the only voice he will recognize because I was the only one loud enough to really get through to him... :-P

or I might very well have traumatized him for life.

... ... ...

but let us not think of that.
