this blog has officially been going for 365 days...

(tomorrow is actually the day it was started, but because it was a leap year this year that would make today 365 days.)

it is kind of funny, because I actually bought this website for Lorie for her birthday, oh, so many years ago.

it lay dormant for about a year because I did not know how, nor did I have the time, to code enough to my satisfaction...

but whatever... it is here.

approximately eight months longer that I actually expected it to last from its inception.

you can have a baby in eight months. (not typical, but it is possible)

this will be the only time I will acknowledge this blog's anniversary...

in other news... I have lain the foundation for www.grayavalanche.com , but I have no idea what I will be doing with it...

I was actually planning on give this site a face lift...

but I was way too busy today...

plus, I spent most of the time I usually reserve for blogging and blog surfing for upgrading to the last free version of movable type that allows you unlimited authors and weblogs...

just because...

and silly me, I almost lost everything because I backed up all of the archives, but then I pasted junk over it and I freaked out because I thought I lost all my past entries, but then I remembered how smart I was to ftp the entire site onto my laptop before I nuked it, so i just had to recopy the site back and pull another export...

on top of that I was able to add a cool comment leader thingy...

I need to add blacklist and a couple other things that will let me simultaneously post to LJ and xanga...

just because.

but I might not actually be that motivated...

that, and I might not have any time...

but we'll see.
